Dancing Queen

The Finished Set Up

Setting Up - Chandeliers Hung From Beams

Carriage Works Beautiful Arch Windows

Earlier this week I styled a TV shoot in one of Sydney's most exciting buildings "Carriage Works". I adore the architectural features and raw industrial feel of this space. The chandeliers I used for the shoot were the perfect juxtaposition against this back drop.

Designed by Phoebe Howard

Designed by Sarah Richardson

I was emailed a new addition to White Upholstery's sofa line which I can't wait to use on a job. I think it would work well used in an entrance way or as banquet seating for a dining space. Here are some of my favorite banquet set ups to fall in love with!

I made a whistle stop tour to Melbourne on the weekend and couldn't resist capturing some of the gracious architecture.

Collette Dinnigans Paddington Pile

Today I returned from my week in Queensland sunkissed and happy. I picked up the weekend papers from my porch and found this gem inside. For those of your who have being following my blog you may remember my post on fashion designer Collette Dinnigans new Paddington home, well she has just listed her redundant Paddington pad with a ten million dollar plus price tag. I jumped on line straight away to download the pictures as any good realestate stalker would and here they are for you to view. I could move in tomorrow and not change a thing!

Beach House Dreaming

These pictures have me dreaming of a house at the beach, with nothing between my front porch and the ocean except the sand. A girl can dream can't she? The architectural details in these images are my idea of seaside heaven. Tongue and groove boards, porthole windows, vaulted ceilings and white shutters, sigh!

Through The Looking Glass

Today I went to a viewing of Mezai's new range and fell in love with the magnifying glass in the top image. I have a intricate silver one sitting on my desk at the moment, I think I might have to start a collection.

South Africa

Over the weekend while researching my next trip I found a new favourite hotel for my South African Holiday. Birkenhead House located on the cliffs overlooking Hermanus Bay has a distinct Hampton's feel. The first image of the pool at night reminds me of the one out of the movie "Somethings Gotta Give".

New Zealand Style

A designer friend of mine from New Zealand and I were recently discussing how many beautiful houses there are over there. I love the way New Zealanders decorate their homes, there is something very charming and welcoming about it. The first set of images are of a house I'm obsessed with, I first saw it a year ago and it still catches my imagination now.

Stella, Stella!

The beautiful home of Zuster furniture designer Wilhelmina McCarroll. Her cluster wall speaks to my love of all things horse related.

The Stella table range created by Zuster designer Wilhelmina McCarrol would have to be my favourite table at the moment. There is something quite sensuous and womanly about the curved legs. I love it so much I'm specifying it for the Vaucluse project I'm currently working on.

Luxurious Leather

In what now seems like a past life I worked as the head designer and buyer for a national furniture retailer. During my time there I was lucky enough to visit some of the great design fairs, like Milan and collaborated with some world class manufacturing companies. One of my favorite quality leather suppliers is renowned Italian company Incanto.
